If you read through the Daily Mail article he was exposed because he wasn't smart enough to use a burner phone when talking to the Bimbolicious or whatever you call those models. He called from either his office or business cellphone and when she dialed it back she got VM identifying his insurance business. The woman then Googled it and learned who he was.

The man basically wanted to get exposed and that's why he was so careless.
