Hearing this scum whine in the video about missing out on all his son's xmas, birthdays, etc, is hard to take.
You killed this little girl you ****. She doesn't get any of those things because if you!
Then the balls to offer a guilty pleas for a month of freedom?? Does she get to be alive again for another month so she can say goodbye to her family?
It's up to God to judge his eternal soul, not me. But I'd sure hate to be in his shoes when they meet.

I will never comprehend how people can possibly hurt children.

There was an audio recording of the murder played to the jury. I've heard descriptions of what it was but I won't repeat it here.
There's no way a jury is going to hear that and find anything other than for the death penalty.

Death is the only appropriate penalty.
Even Jesus said what should happen to people who harm children.

He wants a month? That little girl didn't get a minute.

If he gets death, waves all appeals, and is executed 30 days later; it's worth the month of him sitting behind bars. Much better than letting him sit there for 15-30 years.

That's not what he was saying. Anytime I see people say this, I know they have actually never read the passage. He was talking about false prophets and others leading children and/or new believers to sin or be led astray.
Also, life in gen pop is one of the worst penalties you can give for a crime like this. His likelihood of surviving long is not very good.

Once there is a guilty plea, I see no reason he wasn't killed that hour. He admitted it.
We ought to pass a law that gives 60 days following a conviction to expedite the appeals process. There is no legit appeal that should take longer than that.
