Better description is "hit someone walking on an active runway". It isn't like they were on a cross walk waiting at a light or anything.
Yeah, we damn near had that last week!
Being in TexAgs jail changes a man……..no, not really

I'm not a fan of flying Frontier. When boarding Frontier In Denver, the passengers have to actually walk out on the tarmac to get in and out of the planes. About 3 weeks ago, we were standing outside for 10 minutes in 30 degree weather while they were sorting their crap.

Probably hitch hiking. Did he have his thumb out?

I wouldn't want to go out that way.

You need to be extra stupid, extra drunk or extra suicidal to be walking on an active runway at night.
T&P for those who need to clean this up.

Probably not much left. The parts not consumed by the engine... Leg it legs maybe below the knee and maybe parts of an arm? Everything else probably in the "wash it to the grass" territory. Maybe some engine parts that have to be treated as biohazard.
Above 70mph or so flesh and meaty bits tend to just go to mush and mist.
You're welcome!

Who proofreads this crap? Huh. DEN is out in the middle of nowhere. A leisurely stroll to the corner store?
An intern at ABC7.
Something out of an Gordon Lightfoot song. "In the early morning rain"
"Out on runway number 9/ Big old 707 set to go"

High bypass turbofans don't really "consume" a body. Probably lots of chunks chopped and scattered

"partially consumed". Ugh.

In Austin back in 2020 a person was hit and killed on the runway by a Southwest flight. I believe they determined it was a suicide if I recall correctly.

Pretty inconsiderate way too as he could have killed everyone on the flight if they were further in the takeoff roll.
