This was combined with widespread retrieval of carryon luggage and then failure to follow flight crew instructions. One person rushed past a flight attendant and hit a slide before it fully inflated, which caused the slide to then deflate.

There was recently a plane that had an engine catch fire (I think) right after take-off. The crew activated the fire suppression system, flew around on the good engine, and landed.

Meanwhile, everyone back in the cabin is going BSC and making TikTok videos. There were screams if "We're all going to die!" followed bu "Shut the eff up!".

That was a hard 41 with a very sudden end

Which is why, if it's at all practically possible to get somewhere without flying commercial, I take that option. I always find my nearest exit, read how to open it, then look around at which passengers I am going have to run over to get out because they aren't paying the slightest attention.
