This is a great editorial in the WSJ by Justice Gorsuch

Quote:

Think of the Declaration of Independence as the nation's report card. How well do we live up to it?

Quote:

The Declaration of Independence is a short document, not much longer than this essay. Even so, it contains three ideas that shocked the world in 1776: Each of us is born equal; God grants us all inviolable rights, including the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; and "We the People" have the right to govern ourselves.

Those three ideas represent America's creed.

This is a really great editorial...

He points out how rare it is for a republic like ours to exist...

It's a good read...

Good read. Gorsuch is a real one. No doubt the greatest system ever created.

It's too bad our ruling class loves spending all of American's hard earned money on foreign engagements and boondoggle policies, that don't better the life of an average citizen, but make it harder to achieve the American Dream and of course, enriching themselves along the way. The system needs a reset.
