Took the bullet train from Naples to Rome yesterday.

It's embarrassing that we can't put one in. So damn easy and inexpensive.

They are easy to use in europe but they are only cheap because they are heavily government subsidized. There are huge infrastructure costs to build high speed rail. You can't look at ticket prices to call it cheap.

I'd rather they steal our money for rail than a "learing center" or give it to foreign terrorists.

A whopping 140 miles. Oooh, aah, that's impressive (not.)
that was just our leg. Italy has many more miles. It was clean, convenient, fast and inexpensive.

It would be nice to have it available.

Can someone specify what we are talking about since I don't click twitter?

Click a picture and Google search it. Plug it into AI that is your favorite.

Or just click the link.

Weird that you expect someone else to do that for you

Yeah, so here is my response to that:

Courtesy and good etiquette also involves not asking others to to do things you are bothered by doing yourself.

Thx, that's exactly what I'd expected in reality. China makes a lot of slick videos/propaganda about their 'growing cities' and infrastructure projects. Beneath the surface it's usually all quickly evident they are not 'real.'
Communism still sucks, ultimately.

Then shell out a billion dollars and get it started. Don't want my tax dollars going to something that won't get used.

Etiquette is context dependent.

Posting a 4 minute video without a summary is a d-bag move. But, if ypu had watched my video, you would have known that.

I guess you are too important to watch my video?

italy, and Europe, are tiny countries with few cities of dense population.

Google Maps says the train from Rome to Naples is 3 hours plus commute time too and from the station. The drive time shows to be 2:14. So the train is 45 minutes longer AND you have to travel to and from the station. In a country or local where the majority of people do t own or have access to a vehicle, sure. No one here domestically takes that trade.

The video is AI. Real video available.

Kinda weird. Serves way fewer passengers and way less trains than (say) grand central. This looks like a Chinese version of simcity with unlimited funds. Build the transit and logistics first and fill in the people (NPCs lol) after.

Thanks for sharing that.

Empty just as expected.

I did get a kick out of the Chinese girl in the pink and white that was in all his shots. I don't know if that was his translator or his girlfriend.
