The only thing that will put a stop to them in short order is the one thing that can't be done.

Many of these are organized on social media, often by one person or some kind of group. A start is to go after these people and their funding sources. Would not be surprised if we find out a good number are being organized by foreign entities just to cause trouble.

Most of the people involved in the actual events have basically no parenting and few if any come from a two parent household.

Amen. I saw one kid veer out in front of traffic onto Fry Rd. the other day not realizing a constable was coming his way. The constable flashed his lights and I thought "finally one of the punks is getting taken in"...but then he just said something and drove off. His buddied who hung back were pumping their fists and laughing and then all proceeded to dart out onto Fry (people haul ass on that road sometimes).

So far, the major incidents have been from distinct subcultures.

These aren't new. They've really more been rediscovered from 15 year or so ago when young millennials and older gen Z used to do them. Except those were to do some silly or strange group thing, or mob some poor person's house with a house party, whereas this new fad seems to be an extension of random street race or drifting events.

To clarify...

An E-Bike is a motorized bicycle that can be used on public roads but doesn't need to be registered and doesn't require a license.

An E-Bike must have fully operable pedals, a motor of less than 750 watts, and a top assisted speed of no more than 28 mph.

A Mini-Bike is basically a small motorcycle. It also does not need to be registered and doesn't require a license but is prohibited from being used on public roads. This also applies to Go-Carts.

An ATV or UTV also does not need to be registered and does not require a license, but it is also prohibited from use on public roads unless the owner buys an Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) license plate which allows for limited use on public roads. I do not know if there is a DL requirement.

I don't go Karen mode on the e-bikes but I have noticed almost all of the kids cruising in my hood speed down the sidewalks in them at what looks to be at least 20-25 mph. Eventually someone's going to pull out of their garage in a car and kill one of them.

Good parenting ought to be taught, and following the basic guidelines of good parenting ought to be required by law.

Good parenting for these out of control teens is non-existent. The mom could watch their teenage daughter wearing a skimpy outfit four sizes too small for her body twerking on the hood of a car,drinking and smoking weed, fighting other girls, cussing at the police and resisting arrest when a cop tries to hold her accountable and lays hands on her the mom will then declare the cop can't touch her because she is a female.

This is becoming quite a problem. It happened last weekend at both the country club AND the yacht club. Horrifying.

Not quite.

Your first link talks about an organized theft ring which we've known about and isn't new or part of these "teen takeovers." It's why CVS and Walgreen's have closed stores in certain areas and have a whole bunch of more expensive cosmetics behind locked displays now.

And two local teens to Atlanta with one of the dindu's mom predictably saying "my baby dindu nuffin"

If you want to operate on the concept of cui bono, the parties most likely to benefit are folks who want increased funding for law enforcement or real estate developers looking to crash values and pick up redevelopment plays on the cheap.

In these takeovers there's no indication of anything other than feral dindu's acting stupid because they know they can get away with it.

Out of one side of their mouth Dems encourage this and actually fund it, and it's "hands off" these youngsters expressing themselves, out of the other side they blame Trump for not controlling violence, and they will tell you hey are law and order party!

Happened recently in Pearland, a kid died and absolutely nothing changed.

If the Dems ever gain permanent control, every large city will become like Jo'burg.
