This move would end International flights into Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Philadelphia, and Newark. Boss move but what are the odds he could actually implement this. Complete mayhem would ensue. How fast would an Obama judge shut this down?

I sort of doubt that Trump would do that.

But, I would be Ok with extensive extra screening procedures in those Airports. Possibly adding an extra hour or two both leaving and arriving in the country. Make those airports even more gridlocked and miserable than normal.

Don't necessarily disagree. But this is what Trump does. Shoots for the most outrageous thing imaginable to get something moving forward. At the end of the day, I'm not sure what courts could 'legitimately' do; This falls directly under his purview with DHS.

I like the idea. While they're at it, how about banning all trucking into sanctuary cities. All deliveries blocked. That includes food, gasoline, and other necessities. Choke them where it hurts and matters.

(I haven't really thought this out, just sounds like a good idea and would be fun to watch the repercussions)

What would be cool is if they blocked all incoming flights from China.

Still allow Chinese nationals into the country but make them transit through Europe, Asia or South America before coming here.

Let's say they didn't do that. It would be hilarious if they forced all flights from China into a single city like San Francisco. So that their airport was just overrun with Chinese and it made everyone in the Bay Area miserable.

Or... pull all the customs facilities out of California, Washington and Oregon and make all those carriers across the Pacific fly just a little bit farther to Nevada, Arizona, Utah, etc.

And only make these rules apply to passenger traffic, not cargo.

It could be entertaining.

No, he riles up the TDS folks to clear the field. They will throw a fit, stir up the media into a frenzy, and when the dust finally settles and they eventually get down to brass tacks, Trump will gain some concessions from the sanctuary cities.

They can claim they fought off the big bad wolf and he gets most of what he really wanted to begin with in the end. He lets the media and public's short attention span work to his favor and does the real work after they've moved on to the next outrage.

Trump is a master at moving the ball forward.
