I don't believe so, but at the one I went to, they were promoting it throughout the game, had the lead singer from the band performing throw out the first pitch, and played some Christian music between innings. In other words, they played within the rules MLB set and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Anytime you see a daugherrty tweet, always understand there's exaggeration. MLB was never going to fine them. and players won't be allowed to write bible verses on the hats. So the only "backing down" was to say they should have known about giants screw up before issuing the warning

New reality tv show. Send the fairy tale things to a middle eastern country. If they can survive a month by waving a rainbow flag on the streets of said middle eastern county, they can then select a sports team or cooperation to host a pride night.
