The Kevin Hart roast is a great comparison. They joked the whole night about many of the comedians there that just a while back went overseas to take money from Arabs that don't only support their beliefs but in most cases severely punish people for them. Kevin being one of them.

I really do think this was just a few articles for clickbait with a bunch of randos on social media acting outraged who never liked Nate to begin with. I mean, his moral standards are way beyond their own comprehension.

But Amir sounds flat out ******ed. Like Kennedy said on the FIve today, could you imagine how stupid one would have to be to suddenly say I'm not going to see Pearl Jam or U2 (although I'd argue I'd never see U2 regardless) because they attended Obama's library ceremony today?

That's the difference between people on the right and people on the left/spectrum. I can hate one's politics and still enjoy their entertainment value and pay a **** ton of money to see it for 30 plus years now. Most of these people are flat out incapable of the same in return.

EXACTLY. What I try to explain on the Entertainment board any time we are painted as equally sensitive and intolerant as the left. We have ALWAYS known that almost every single actor or musician we like was very left leaning, with almost no exceptions. I knew that when I was a kid. But we still see their movies and go to their concerts and really only have a problem when they start preaching and lecturing down to us.

One of my favorite Nate bits is the one where he decided that if he went back in time he wouldn't even be able to prove it to anyone there or even change anything.

He has been around a long time and I think what one person said about Steve Martin applies to Bargartze also: His humor is better coming from an older looking guy.

Saw him last night in Houston. Great show and a packed house. I think Nate will be just fine.
