i already have 2 tickets to see him in corpus in oct because we would be down there anyway, but I just picked up some for Moody on Saturday with tickets so the kids could go with us. I had no idea he was in town!

The Kevin Hart roast is a great comparison. They joked the whole night about many of the comedians there that just a while back went overseas to take money from Arabs that don't only support their beliefs but in most cases severely punish people for them. Kevin being one of them.

But that's ok but attending a UFC event is not.

I understand what you're saying. He's very funny but I don't think he's as brilliant as the general populace seems to think he is. I think a lot of these people are just sort of casual comedy fans and so when they see a good comedian, they think he's "the best".
He does have one Netflix special (I think it's the one where he's outdoors) that was not nearly as good as his other stuff. I bet you watched that one.
Regardless, he's funny, not vulgar, and reaping the rewards of that. I wish him nothing but continued long term success.

Much of modern "journalism" consists of some hack using AI to write a lede and then just filling in the rest with social media posts.

Seen him in person twice. Huge fan. Saw he's greatness coming many years ago.

Pretty huge endorsement as I am not a guy that goes out often to be mixed in with huge crowds of the general public at night

Took the family to see his show in San Antonio earlier this year. All of the comedians were awesome (and clean), and Nate killed it. They can't cancel funny, and Nate is just genuine. Never pick on comedians who excel in leading you to the edge of your own stupidity and than compel you to stare hard.

Screw those liberals.

They hate everyone and every thing.

Going to see him tonight in Houston. He was initially just scheduled for tomorrow and they opened up a second night. We bought in the upper deck since i was taking the whole family and don't like them enough to spend that much money. Tickets got moved to the lower bowl because they weren't fully sold out. Don't think that had anything to do with the UFC...just don't think there was enough demand for a thursday night show in Houston with a full house tomorrow night.

Very first time I saw him on Netflix I saw the 'dead horse' bit and was immediately sold. Never looked back. Got to see him live to a couple years ago. The SNL George Washington bit was the best thing I've seen on SNL since the 80's.

It is completely kid safe. I wouldn't call it "must see" but it is definitely worth seeing. It was a very refreshing movie. I saw that the critics were panning it for all of the blatant product endorsements also. I truly believe that it was over the top on purpose, part of the joke. I'm sure the money didn't hurt but I think it was definitely part of the gags of the movie. I definitely don't trust the critics, I give way more credence to the audience scores.

In regards to Rotten Tomato's, over the last 10 years, this is the critic to fan ratios I typically look for. The "Hollywood critic" standard for what a good show/movie is has become so bizarre…they have a very strange checklist of what it takes for a show to be good.
