Various sources estimate the success rate of a two-point conversion to be between 40% and 55%, significantly lower than that of the extra point, though because of the higher value, a higher expected value is achieved through the two-point conversion than the extra point.

Lovie absolutely bent his boss over today. Like watching Major League.

Watch a ****ty team all season only to see them decide to win the last game to lose the first pick. Brutal.

Davis Mills should be perp walked down I 10 for even throwing that anywhere near the end zone. Insane

My money is on him being a moron. Fits with the rest of the franchise.

He's the only one I don't blame for trying to win the game.

This franchise. 20 years of utter futility. Never been to an AFC Championship game, and we can't even execute the easiest part of a tank job.

They give us nothing to enjoy. Other than JJ and maybe Andre Johnson, there's been nothing interesting about this team in its entire miserable history.

Please just sell the team, Cal. Let us start over.

I'm not sure I agree.

The probability of a two-point conversion is significantly lower than an extra point. An extra point probably would've put them into overtime. That was the only other option unless they told the kicker to tank it.

But yes, losing at this point would've been a better choice, but I think they went for the two-point conversion, because there was less chance of getting it.

Also, it's pretty hard to stomach seeing any team trying to lose. Even if you might get a better reward. We also don't know what kind of deals the Texans will make with other teams to get a better trade.

Y'all can disagree with me, but I think it was probably the better call.

I also think Lovie should get one more year. How quickly people forget about Jimmie Johnson's first year with the Cowboys.

Flame away.

Just an observation too. I'm a diehard Oilers/Texans fan. I grew up Houston (now in Bryan) and I support my teams. Plus, I don't like the Cowboys never have.

But y'all wouldn't be so upset if you didn't care. So either keep being a fan or don't. No one is forcing you.

There were plenty of other teams this year that did poorly as well. Hell look at LA from Super Bowl champions to not even making the playoffs. Each year is a new year.

That's what makes sports so fun.

That said being completely disgusted with this year, and some decisions is completely understandable.

Lovie sucks. We need a franchise QB and a coach that can groom him. We'll waste a year if we bring him back.

You know you don't have to watch or be a fan don't you? If it's really upsetting you this much, maybe pick another team? Life is too short, dude.

I can't really blame Lovie or any of the players, EXCEPT for Brandon Cooks. He should have been done for the year after his hissy fit.

Total failure by Caserio.

Sure I don't blame him for his career management - but screw that. He should have been pulled and we run the wildcat all game. Just seeing red right now after fans have to suffer through this crap post BoB and we can't even manage to lose right.

How do you know we won't get a franchise QB? Again, let's see what deals they make to get better trades. We're still gonna be pretty far up there. Truth is, if he does come back next year you have no idea how they'll do. None of us do. But if they get a new coach then so be that too.

We will get a QB. But he's not going to groom him. He won't be here past next year. Move on with the guy that can actually do that.

Lovie is not going to lead the Texans to the post season. Him being employed by the Texans next year tells fans to take the year off.

Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs aren't walking through the door next year to give Lovie a defense he can't lose with.

They would have screwed up the #1 pick anyway. Probably would have drafted a center or something.

Because it's very possible they end up getting the #2 QB on their board now. That's a big deal.
