One thing is for sure, that was a really bad PR move for the Texans. Literally the only hope the fans had to look forward to was a #1 pick.

It's been **** sandwich after **** sandwich for the last 20 years following this team. People are mad because this franchise is *******. Let them vent. All you logic kings can school the rest of us on pick value and draft strategy tomorrow.
Why don't we just wait till the draft happens and see what the Texans get. It still may turn out to be a great thing and again I would've been hard to stomach a team actually trying to tank and lose a game on purpose regardless of the rewards.
But I don't think any of us are going to agree about this, so we can either just go fight it out on the playground or see what happens.

The McNairs selling the team is the only thing I hope for these days. That Hopkins trade was when I completely quit the Texans. It has been one bad decision after another since the very beginning of the franchise.

Punting from the Indy 49 so we could secure a tie in game 1 was unforgivable for me. Such a loser mentality, especially on a young team that wasn't going to compete.

I think it's far more likely that Chicago ends up staying at #1. Trades for #1 are incredibly rare. And if Indy wants to give up a haul like the Rams did for Goff, I consider that a win for the Texans.

Lawrence was hyped as a top prospect basically his entire career. There's no one like that in this draft. So a more applicable comparison would be Trey Lance vs Zach Wilson.
