The $1.5MM DraftKings Best Ball dream came to an end tonight. Finished 2nd in my 12-team 2nd round playoff pod, 8.4 PPR points short of 1st and a ticket to the final round. I needed some scoring help from Watson and Musgrave in this game, but it never arrived. At least there is a $150 consolation prize ($20 entry) and the satisfaction of beating out about 775,000 other entries to get this far. I guess the $1.5MM will have to wait until next season.
Both my redraft teams secured a place in the finals yesterday, so still have something to play for in the championship round, with a few hundred bucks and pride at stake.

Lol, I wish I was that good. The two redraft leagues I am in are soft as socks. One is an 8-team family league and the other is a 10-team work league. In both finals I am playing someone who knows what they are doing, so there are definitely no guarantees of a championship.
To be honest, I enjoy playing DFS on DraftKings more than my redraft leagues. I play NFL and NBA, and sprinkle in some F1 and WNBA when the sports calendar is thin. I treat it more as a hobby and I don't have any really big cashes yet, but I am still working off of my original deposit and my bankroll is bigger than when I started a couple of years ago, so I will take that as a win.

Sad Tuesday. 2nd year in a row went into playoffs as #1 and got bounced by #4 seed. Opponent scored 145 and I lost by 15 to their Christmas miracle waiver wire pickups.
Really don't understand why the Steelers don't take more deep shots with Pickens. It sure seems like he's above 50% on catching those.
