The Texans were significantly better with Trent Brown at RT. Unless they think he has more left in the tank, I think that's the place to target. I suspect they'll go after a center in free agency.

A dynamic RB is the other big need IMO. I like Marks, but think he might be better as a #2. The biggest difference between Seattle and Houston is that Seattle has 2 RBs better than anything we had available this year. Darnold cut his turnovers in the playoffs but was very turnover prone this year.

RB is a huge need going into 2026, I'd put that as the second biggest need after improving the OL.

2025 Rushing Stats (all regular season)
1852 yards (108.9/game) - 22nd
3.9 yards/attempt - 28th
9 rushing TD's - tied with Carolina, Arizona, Tennessee and New Orleans and the only team with fewer than 9 rushing TD's last season was Las Vegas with 5. There were 9 RB's in the NFL with more rushing TD's than Houston...worse than that is Jaxson Dart and Trevor Lawrence each had as many rushing TD's as Houston did as a team. Nick Chubb scored 3 rushing TD's...that was the best on the team, Marks was 2nd with 2.

Notable free agents
Kenneth Walker
Breece Hall
Travis Etienne Jr
Rico Dowdle
Javonte Williams

Best RB prospects in the 2026 draft
Jeremiyah Love - Notre Dame
Jadarian Price - Notre Dame
Jonah Coleman - Washington
Emmett Johnson - Nebraska
Nicholas Singleton - Penn State
Kaytron Allen - Penn State

I can't see us spending money on a top tier free agent when there are so many potential high end guys in this draft. I would say keeping someone like Chubb to help with Marks, Jordan and a rookie. Then you run Marks and the rookie as 1A and B, spot in Chubb and build Jordan into a rotation with Marks as the 3rd down A and B.
