Just horrible defense. Terrible schemes and no name def line and backers. Every contact on Dowdle happening 3-5 yards past the LOS. Cant cover a WR without putting an arm around their waist. Eberflus should not be retained and need to retool the talent

Idk what you do with the defense. Eberflus suck. We were getting shredded via the pass all season and now today is throwback ass cheek run D. We need more players on D to take advantage of Dak and the offense, do you really want to do that?

An average at best assembly of players and coaches, built by a GM we all know who isn't and has NEVER been capable of functioning in that capacity. Not surprised at all the futility continues.

Eberflus was such an idiotic hire. Complete mismatch of philosophy vs talent. It was truly just Jerry going "well, ol Schotty is inexperienced so lets get him a former hc to be dc". No comprehensive thought or plan, just like how they've managed the roster for 3 decades
This. It's a mismatch of philosophy and talent first and foremost. The guys you do have at LBer, CB and S are so incapable of running the scheme that you can't fix it.
