Ground causes some issues too. It's like I stopped seeing Altaria, Clefable, & Azumarill all together and got a bunch of Whiscash, Marshtomp, & others using Mud Shot & Mud Bombs.AgSportsFan89 said:Farmer1906 said:

I actually have seen a similar team today. I run a blaziken and def deoxys with counter, so I feel like I match up well.

For sure. I dont have a great whiscash counter, so I am pretty sick of seeing him lol. I've also seen plenty of toxicroaks with mud bombs too. Makes me want to spend all my rare candy on my deoxys for a 2nd charge move for psycho boost
I can counter whiscash with my Tangela but if they have Blizzard, I am done

I see a bunch as leads and then add a Venusaur to my team to counter. I immediately stop seeing them and get steel and dragon leads.

Enjoy it ! There's been at least 5-10 matches where I've lost because of lag.

Been hit by glitches hard today. At one point one of the mini games for a charge attack cut out halfway through. I've been doing terribly because of it.
Also decided to add a whiscash to my team. The first battle he goes out as my lead, I draw a ****ing victreebell and he's half dead before the switch many even opens. They need a side icon menu so ****ing bad it's not funny. Whatever game designer came up with this format needs to be pistol whipped

I made a huge blunder. I powered up a couple mons when I hit lv28. Not paying attention, I power up my Shiny Arcanine, who is my favorite mon to battle with. He is now 2535. I'm an idiot!
Got a shiny 3 star cobalion today.
Just went 1-9 in a ten game stretch. I run into hard counter after hard counter on my leads...change from whiscash to Melmetal, they lead Whiscash, I switch My lead to Altaria, they lead Clefable. It's unreal. Rank has fallen from like 2040 to 1938

Yep, same thing happens to me. I started out really well, but it's been rough since the first few days. I can hardly win a single battle anymore.
Yeah, I posted a page or two ago that I'd started about 82-43, and now I'm 109-73, so 27-30 since then.
Just went 5-0 and it brought me up to 1981. It really seems like there's no rhyme or reason to the rankings.
I like having Skarmory and my 100IV Toxicroak, but I'm struggling to fill the 3rd slot. Seems that no matter who I choose, I end up getting matched against the counter to whatever I choose.
Maybe Rock or Ice. If you threw Skar or Tox at me, I would go flying/electric. My Zapdos would run wild. To counter than...rock or ice might be a good fit. In this league, Lapdos seems to be a norm.chase128 said:

Been me the last several rounds or so. Changing up the team does nothing because I immediately draw teams with new counters and bad leads.
I will forever be suspicious that they have you pick your team, and then find you an opponent.
Yesterday, I could barely win anything at all. So much glitching. Today things have gone smoothly and haven't seen too many counters that completely destroy my team. I'm getting better at using shields and memorizing what potential moves pokemon have. I think I'm ~12-3 today.
I saw someone on YouTube run a double grass team to counter Whiscash or Azu. They were 26-0 with it. I want to get my hands on a Meganium so I can try it out...but no one is helping in discord.

Seems like when I use Meganium, I stop seeing Azumarills and Whiscashs and suddenly every match up has Altaria or Skarmory or some random fire type
They lead skarmory to cover that and the other grass type is Shiftry who is spammy and gets good coverage w his dark typing.
App just crashed and got kicked out of a match I was winning. Got stuck with a loss even though I restarted immediately. This is bull****. Not the first time it's happened today, but so far it's been at the end of matches and I assumed I died before I could get back in. This was barely halfway in

I was on the 5th match of a group of matches. I needed a win to get another likely cobalion encounter.
I was in control of the match and then...... lag.
I come back and loss / no encounter.
Why would it be " likely cobalion"?
