Just beat a guy and it felt SO. ****ING. GOOD.

Got a terrible matchup to start. My metagross against his swampert. He took a meteor mash, and I switched to kyogre knowing he'd use earthquake. I let kyogre take it. I hit him with waterfall and he blocked a surf, then I blocked a hydro cannon. He switched to dialga.

I. Hate. Dialga. That's part of why this next part felt so good.

I battled with kyogre until he bought the farm. Then metagross went out. He took a draco meteor and kept punching. My opponent blocked a meteor mash, and now that he was out of shields, groudon came out to play. I was mud shotting his dialga to death and blocked a draco meteor. He pulled dialga and sent out giratina.

I. Hate. People. Who. Use. Dialga. AND. Giratina. That's why this next part felt so good.

I hit it with an earthquake, then recharged and hit it with another earthquake before he could get off a charged attack. Bye, Felicia. Then he sent dialga back out. I mud shotted it to death. Then swampert came back out. I was already halfway to an earthquake and got there before he could get to a hydro cannon. It ripped him apart. Groudon blew right through all three of his pokemon like a champ.

Aw. Yeah.

I feel like teams should be limited to one legendary. That would really open up teams and stop the concentration around those specific two.

Would not be opposed to this at all. I'd be curious to see if they'd include Melmetal in that or not...I think as seasons progress, they'll limit the types of Pokmon you can use in some capacity.

Do the Pokemon that spawn during the incense event have a high flee chance? I've had 3 Totodiles and a Mudkip flee after just a couple attempts. Seems weird

I caught a shiny Bulbasaur. Not a big deal, however, I was transferring him when the window popped up asking if I wanted to get rid of a shiny. Odd how similar a shiny and non-shiny are with Bulbasaurs. Very little difference.

Finished hatching my last 2 2k eggs from the hatch event. 2 mediocre Pichus, yippee. At least I was able to snag a decent Riolu and 98% Chingling during the course of the event.

Anyone else submitting stops and/or reviewing and getting into the weeds of that? There aren't many in my community doing it, but those of us that are have had some good success. From my house, I can see 21 stops and 3 gyms that weren't there before Wayfarer, including turning the triple gym at the library into a quad.

I submitted 2 in December. One has been "in voting" for months and the other is "in queue." Are they stuck or something?

There were a couple of weeks late December / early January where submissions were mishandled, and never got resolved either way. You may be a victim of that. The Wayfarer devs think they've cleared them out, though, or at least have set things up to get them cleared out.

Another possibility is that your area doesn't have enough reviewers. Everyone gets to set a primary and secondary location, but it still bounces your reviewing locations around a lot. But if you're especially rural, it still may not be enough to get your submissions onto people's reviews.

These two things could be working together against you, as well.

Interesting, yea, it was mid-late December when I submitted.

I'm smack in the middle of the loop in Houston. Gyms/raids aren't super active, so maybe I'm not getting enough reviewers.

Been making solid progress on my best buddies. Getting them excited and double daily hearts has actually been pretty easy. I've blown through about 1/3 of the jump from ultra to best in the last 2-3 days on giratina. Getting 15-17 hearts a day, you can level up in no time

I've been trying to do that, too. It's too bad my buddies still aren't bringing me gifts at a faster rate like advertised.

Anyway, which league is everyone playing for the next two weeks? They all open this afternoon. I think I'll mostly stick to Ultra.

Ultra. Definitely my best league. Threw away a lot that's good in great, don't have enough to compete with the ridiculous maxed hundos of everything in master.

I enjoy PvP, but I'm not very good at it. I'm at best a 1900 rating player, so this doesn't impact me much.

But for those folks who "want to be the very best" (cue the music!) this kinda stinks to put an Elite Charge TM up for poke-coins. It's a pay-to-win kinda thing I feel like. I hope we don't see it very often.

It's spendy, so there's that. Then again, there are people who literally spend thousands of dollars on this game in micro transactions. You can also only buy one community day box.

They're also rewards at the end of the season in GBL, supposedly.
