I think I'll teach Mewtwo Shadow Ball. I'd really to give Mewtwo a second charge so it can have Shadow Ball of PsyStrike. But I don't have that kind of candy.

I have a 98% mewtwo with shadow ball and psychic. Tempted to upgrade him to shadow ball/psystrike, but I also have a hundo charizard that could use blast burn. I also wouldn't put it part niantic to make Elite TM only moves that you can't even get through an event.

Probably just going to sit on it.

I think Silph Road has a list of all the Elite TM moves -- I think almost all are available other than some legacy moves. People were definitely using on Mewtwo for Shadow Ball/Psystrike Mewtwo

I haven't played GL in so long...struggling to get the hang of it again.

Has anyone tried using Haunter? I started using him....he is insane. So glassy, but so powerful.

There's definitely a debate to be had for Shadow Ball vs Focus Blast. It's probably important to think about how you want to use Mewtwo before you swap up the moves there.

I have no experience with Haunter, but it's a scary Pokemon to go up against. You have to respect the damage.

I'm seeing more Shadow Pokemon with hard hitting fast moves. Even came across a team of all Shadow, it was brutal.

I can't stand facing shadow pokemon. Debated building one

I don't have the dust for them but they seem like a fun option.

Count me as someone who would have preferred the game without shadow mons. I like team rocket battles, but shadows and pure mobs just kind of annoy me.

Seedot Community Day will feature a bundle in the store with an Elite Fast TM.

Seedot is probably my least favorite mon we've had for a community day.

While I'm *****ing, is anyone else missing a ton of the gen 5 dex? And I'm not talking legendary. There was just never loads of those spawns.

It's a pretty underwhelming community day 'mon. It's CD move is going to be Bullet Seed.....ummm ok?

Now that you mention it and I look, yes. I have a lot of empty ones. Not just silhouettes, either, but ones I've never even encountered at all.

The encounter reward this season has been garbage, even for my novice self. If this were the reward during normal conditions where you had to put in some miles just to play again, I would be ticked!

That is going to be such trash...I wish it would stay like this where we don't have to walk.

Wow faced three shadow gardevoir in a set...

Wow! I thought about doing that with a set of fighting type. Did they have 3 different move sets; an all fairy move set, an all psychic, and an electric + ghost?

He means set of battles. You can't have the same mon twice in your lineup.

How was it? I have a 15/11/13 shadow ralts I've considered evolving and powering up.
Saint Pablo

Charm does so much damage. They can shred a team. Two of the games I played I ran Alolan Raichu, Swablu, and Vigoroth. It was my first time running it and Gardevoir ran through my team. The other time I had Azu, Haunter, and Regi and ended up winning.

The damage boost for shadow Pokmon is legit, but they're so glassy. I have a shadow Kirlia I will evolve when I can, but I don't think that they're the best use of resources.

What ABatt said! However, one if the sets had three shadow Pokmon...hitmonchan, Gardevoir, and Victrybel. All incredibly hard hitting fast moves. I think they don't even worry about charge moves but idk

If they're running a Victreebel, then they mostly just care about firing off an Acid Spray for the Defense Down debuff. It's all downhill from there....

The razor leaf damage is brutal too.

Probably not because frustration doesn't do ****. That's why changing charge moves on shadow Pokemon is a big deal. Imagine shadow hitmonchan with counter and power up punch or shadow whiscash with mud shot and mud bomb. They'd murder teams.
ABATTBQ11

It's switching broken? Every time I switch I have to do it twice.
Saint Pablo
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes. Charge moves are messed up too...it takes 2-3 clicks. Every time I try to fire play rough, it builds to a hydro pump before I get it off. It's cost me games.

The charge move issue is ridiculous.

It's almost unplayable. WTF kind of product testing did they do, and why is every release a cluster ****? It's like they can't add or change anything without screwing up two things that were already working.

These both sound like they're manifestations of a new bug, where the game queues your taps beyond what it takes to attack in a single turn, and won't anything else until it clears out that queue.

GBL rewards are trash now...4 wins for rare candies and the Pokmon rewards are Oshawott, Snivy, Tepig, and freaking Skarmory. Cmon.

Been alternating GBL lineups using Meganium, Infernape, and Feraligator along with my default of Tangrowth, Azumarill, and Entei... been going 2-3 or 3-2 because the stupid game ALWAYS matches me with people starting a type advantage over my starter.

Hey, guess what? I figured out a loophole that allows you to change what type of mon you may go up against. It's a pretty cool trick. Let me explain.

For awhile I have been using Toxicroak as my lead. Wow, did I ever see an abundance of Psychics. I mean it was crazy! I was seeing Psychic mon that I didn't know existed.

So, I started thinking about how the system works and decided to try something out. I took my Toxicroak out and replaced him with a Zweilous.

All of a sudden...there is not a freaking Psychic to be found!!! However, flocks of Fairies have come out da wood!

*sigh*

I've noticed that, too. I don't know what the deal is but all I can suggest is that you can't plan on winning the lead. You have to account for needing to switch, so have a Pokemon in your line-up that's a good generalist or a safe swap option.

Someone like Vigoroth for example. It only has one true weakness, Fighting, and it has a spammy charge move with Body Slam. You can swap to it, then start firing off Body Slams to pressure shields. After that, hopefully you can get a shield advantage or switch advantage; from there turn the match around.
