Yes, but people seem to be assuming that player levels over 40 mean being able to power up their mon above current caps. The new levels could just be trophy levels that don't affect anything but bragging rights. Ingress is like that.
My pokemon buddy has been bringing me gifts of berries and revives every 30min all day today. Did they turn on the buddy gift system early for the community day, but with normal items instead of 50 balls?
I've gotten a ton of berries today!

Running on iOS and Adv sync not working. It says I need to go to Privacy/Health settings to enable PokemonGo to access health data. However PGo does not show up in the Privacy/Health settings.
Did you get a new phone? Mine kept doing that after I got a new phone. I finally deleted the app and reinstalled it, and that fixed it.
I've had the same problem. You have to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Just started playing again after three years. I opened the app up and caught a Farfetch'd on my street and was wondering how that was possible. Thanks for the info above.
It's a Galarian farfetch'd. I believe they were a limited time thing.

Zangoose and seviper are supposedly the regionals for GoFest. This has to be a joke, because they've already rotated regions once and were in an event a few months ago. I'm not spending $15 on that crap.

Does anyone on here use a pokeball plus? I found mine after not using it for a year plus and have a crazy amount running away. 40+ today with maybe 15-20 caught. Seems like a terrible ratio.

Ballpark 50% is normal for any of the auto-catch devices. It's "one red ball, straight, with no circle bonus." If it catches on that one auto-throw, great. If it doesn't, you're SOL.Farmer1906 said:

I got much better results later in the day. Must have just been unlucky. Still pretty neat to use. GBL is back and one thing is still the same...During the break I decided to put together a tank team. So I am now leading with a Snorlax, and then I have a Harryama and a Wiggletuff coming off the bench. My biggest threat is poison. I immediately go 8-0 and finish the first two sets at 9-1. The next 5 matches have poison teams, and when I say team, I mean the entire team, or 2 of 3, is poison. Ridiculous!

I got screwed by the "overtap" bug many times. Took a few losses because my opponent got of charge moves while I was tapping the charge attack button and just watching it increase with more fast attacks. At one point I literally just needed one charge attack, bright out a giratina with a built up attack, buy the charge button, and got a fast attack twice. Of course I lost.
