The Vaporeon was only called on once during the four wins.
The one loss was a glitch. Lag caused me to start playing with about 25%hp left on my Arcanine. Once I started playing, he already had two charges ready. In the end, I only lost by a fraction.

I'm running power up punch Lucario...a good chunk of the time I don't click any of the bubbles so that I can virtually do 2 back to back or get to shadow ball quicker. Does anyone know if this is a good strategy or not? It seems to be effective for me and I'm curious if anyone else has done that
Tried out the team you talked about. It works fairly well, but dark, fairy, psychic, and poison really throw a wrench in things. I've seen so many TKiss, Clefairy, Alolan Muk, Cresselia, etc types.

Landing a shadow ball or two is pretty critical to having success. I'm normally able to bait with a pup and then get a shadow ball off.
Yes. The little circles. If you don't click them, some of the energy is returned.
Oof my team is taking a beating today. Running into more Togekiss and Clefable. Wish I had one powered up...may throw in Gardevoir or Snorlax.

I never knew this. Could be interesting strategy to draw out shields.
Edit- however, I tried that tactic against a trainer (practice) and zero energy was restored.
Rip I saw people that made it to rank ten on YouTube and never actually tested it other than in real battles...I must have over farmed energy or something. Just tested it in a trainer battle against my younger brother and I guess you're right.
I've been having trouble as well. Breloom feels really fragile today where yesterday he was a beast.

Quit a battle out of frustration earlier. Dude had a Snorlax that would not take any damage although he also wouldn't damage me. He managed to knock out my first 2 Pokemon and half of my third. I finally got the Snorlax out... and he busts out a Registeel

I've been seeing Snorlax enough to be impressed with it. He's beefy and still does decent damage
My wife just traded me a low star Snorlax which then turned into a 3 star lucky lol.

Great Wall to Giratina. I bet Outrage could catch them more times than not. I think I'm gonna try it out.
Alolan muk is a good counter. Poison type limits damage from charm, and his poison charge attack will one shot a togekiss or clefable. Dark typing also helps with giratins coverage. I've been running alolan muk, clefable, and giratina A with success.
Been getting lots of cobalion encounters lately. Finally got a rufflet today.
I'll look into powering one up. I don't have a decent Clefable to max :-/

Snorlax is awesome. He does well enough against Giratina that I may TM Outrage off of him to gain more coverage.
Got absolutely hammered today. When I'd bring Snorlax, I ran into Lucario. When I'd bring Lucario, I'd run into Clefable. Hell, I got sick of running Swampert leads, so I led Sceptile and literally the first match I ran him in I faced a Charizard lead. I feel like their match making service does this intentionally sometimes.
I keep going 3-2 with Swampert, Gardevoir, and Alolan Muk. Used to run Giratina, but throwing Muk in there has been kind of fun. I want to replace the Gardevoir with Togekiss, but I'm out of Stardust at the moment, and my Togekiss is like 1200CP
I want a Togekiss so bad. Debating dumping rare candies into a togetic just to build one

I would hope so. As much as I don't love raiding, I don't think we should be able to just stay in. This game is about going out into the world.

I'm ok with this. The idea of a location based gaming is fun, but it's also a ***** to keep up with.
Would be cool if you were at a gym and could invite friends. At least the party leader would need to be there.
