10 straight matches this morning where my opponent had the optimal counter to my lead to start a match...even with me switching my lead several times. It's like the game knows who you are matching against and does it on purpose.

What else do they work against? I have one of those, too. He's only 1484, but I have 529 candies I can use to power him up. Should I do that?

He has Charm/Dazzling Gleam/Blizzard. Should I swap any of those?

Keep in mind UL is almost over. It's probably worth doing but you may not be able to use it much until UL comes back around.

Went negative to close out the Ultra League, now ready to get obliterated in Master League. Disappointing.

Closed out Ultra with 5-0 and 3-2. Masters will be brutal!

Fetal position and pray

2-3 in my first Master League run using Torterra, Mammoswine, and Giratina Origin. Wins were both luck of the draws where I had the counter to everything my opponent had. 2 losses were where the opponent had the counter to everything I had (I screwed myself in one battle where my opponent started a Mewtwo with Fire Blast, which I didn't block, because how does Mewtwo have fire moves? It one hit KOed my Torterra). The 3rd loss I got screwed by lag from the opponent constantly switching Pokemon.

Not bad for my very first Master try, I guess.

FYI, mewtwo's charge attacks will one shot torterra almost every time.

4-1 start with Kyogre, Metagross, & Tyranitar.

Started 4-1, thought that maybe Master League wouldn't be so bad, then proceeded to 1-4. Yup.

Just went 5-0 with this line up. Last match was the closest. Opponent had a metagross, kyogre, and dialga. I was planning on knocking out the metagross with groudon when it first came up as the lead, but he pulled it at half strength after burning a shield and sent out kyogre. I sent it my kyogre and traded blows until he burned his second shield, then let my kyogre faint. I sent out giratina to finish kyogre, and then he sent out dialga. I immediately switched to groudon and unleashed a charged up earthquake I'd been keeping in my back pocket. One shotted dialga, then hit metagross with some mud shots before fainting. Giratina polished off metagross for the win, but it was still a little close because giratina took two surfs from kyogre.

Ack, didn't realize that'd be so big.

What're you running? I unfortunately have no maxed out legendaries so am trying Gyarados, Swampert, and Melmetal...they do okay

I have a perfect metagross but need the elite TM move for him to be effective.

All of my high rated dust mons are geared toward raiding.

I can probably get a Togekiss up there after this event is over, but I'd still need a 3rd for masters.
