I have the setup pictured below in my new home, and I am trying to figure out what mount would work best. The builder seemed to put the below wall plugs and pass through in an awkward spot above the mantle. I'm concerned about the distance between the two face plates and which mounts would be compatible to not interfere. The plugs are too low to put the mount below the faceplates, but putting the mount above the faceplates I think would put the TV too high on the wall. So I'm looking for something that would surround the faceplates, but not interfere with their use.

The red dot is the center point on the wall above the fireplace, but I really only have 3 inches to work with on either side of the dot since that's the shortest dimension to keep things centered. A lot of mounts I see have a bar in the middle that would sit flush with the wall that would be wider than 6 inches.

Any suggestions? I considered Mantle Mount products, but they would make my TV stick out too much from the wall (7.5 inches which would go past the mantle).

The TV I'm trying to mount is the Samsung S90C 77" which seems to have low-placed VESA mounting holes which means mounting above the faceplates would make it too high on the wall.

Man, I was looking at that one too, but my TV has 400 mm VESA mount width, and that makes the left vertical bar of that mount sit right over my ethernet jack and hdmi pass-through if I center the TV on the red dot.

I'm wondering if the builder will just need to move that ethernet wall jack to the other side of the stud. Trying to think of other solutions. If I mount above the face plates, are there any mounts that would have arms to let me lower the TV while keeping it flush with the wall?

Edit: I think arms to lower it wouldn't work either because they'd just pass over the wall jack too. I'd need to lower the TV about 17 inches if putting the mount above the wall brackets.

I think I can make that Sanus 4D mount work. I reassessed the centering point, and it is actually 4.5 inches from the right and 3 inches from the left. However, depending on how wide the vertical brackets are, they may slightly cover the face plates, but hopefully not the plugs, but I'm not sure if they have enough space between them and the wall to clear the thickness of the faceplates. Do they make flush faceplates?

Gotcha. That's what I was afraid of. Figured you had already checked where the vertical bar would be but wasn't sure.

Not even sure this will work now after looking at the 4D mount's diagram. The vertical bars would sit within the 400 mm VESA width, so they're definitely going to cover the plugs, unless the mount let's me reverse them to be on the outside?

How about one built this way? May have enough tilt to not interfere with plug and hdmi cables.

Ordered! Thanks for finding that one. I think that one will even let me mount under the wall plugs since the box piece is only 8.5 inches tall, so the vertical arms won't even matter if they don't clear the plugs.
