I'm a bit older these days almost 40 so I wasn't as great as I used to be when I started out. The best thing I did was leveling up my guns on the death matches to get better with the weapons and it's paid off tremendously.

Man BF6 has been the first BF game I've played since BF2. Incredible game and community. They really got it right

Got a price range? My oldest loves (really loves) his Steel Series. We get the youngest Turtle Beach which are cheap enough to replace but okay.

Nova 3, 4, and 5 are all on sale in the "that's nice nice gift bro" range. $80-110.

If you're looking cheaper than that I'd go wired. $60 for the wired Nova 1.

Outside of Steel Series you're going to have all the usual suspects. Razer, Corsair, etc.

HyperX Clouds are usually rated very highly. Those also fall in the $60-80 range.

If you're looking even a bit cheaper still I might go with the Razer BlackShark V2. Around $30-40.

That way it's still super affordable but a brand name.

I have made the switch from over the ear wireless headsets to wired in-ear monitors. For FPS games where audio cues (footsteps, close miss shots) are helpful for situational awareness, nothing compares.

You could obviously go with some expensive custom molded in-ears...but I kid you not, the ones on amazon are 99% the way there in sound as the custom ones. for PS5 I got the 3.5mm jack ones to plug into the dualsense controller. Or you could go USB-C version and plug into the front of your PS5

Thanks for the rec! I've looked at those and getting an amp set up with some open back headphones... but definitely won't do that with the huge increase in parts for PCs right now with building a new rig.

This game is great but punishing if you are on cheeks team.

You get punished if you try to push the point with no help.

That and it is rampant with cheaters.

The new winter game variants are a lot of fun, imo.

Agree. Like to little gameplay rules in the winter maps with the heat zones (healing) and frozen zones (no healing)

I was wondering why they were filming it. Seemed to be a pretty remote place for people to just be standing there waiting and shooting.

It says the passenger was ejected, Vince was trapped and died in the fireball.

For what? Clout?
