Rain gauge over flowed at 6.5 inches in SE Brazos County. Was watching on radar and as soon as a storm would roll out a new one would form and drop on top of us. Went on for 6-7 hours.

Yikes. Wife's grandparents live in point blank but have a little cabin off Kickapoo Creek in Onalaska. They had water in the cabin at the beginning of the week which has not happened in the ten years I've been around. That area didn't need any more rain

Water Data for Texas website shows Lake Livingston 0.1 foot below the emergency spillway elevation within the past hour.

Don't know what the gate positions are other than record releases. Don't think the emergency spillway has ever operated.

Driving from Houston to Hearne today. Thinking I'll take 290 to Brenham, then 50 up to 21, continue on 50 through Mumford to 190, and into Hearne. Based on river models, I don't think they're should be an issue crossing Brazos at 290 below where Navasota feeds it.
