Yeah, at our cabin in Clark it was -16 Tuesday morning. We've never been up here with it so cold for 4+ days straight…but at least it didn't ruin our mountain days, body warmers on the lower back helped!

Headed to Breckenridge the week before you. I did a lot of research on lift tickets and there's basically no discounts that I could find. It's pretty insane the cost.
We're still skiing! 22 degrees with a windchill of -3 at Mt Ashland. That's pretty ridiculous for us PNW skiers. Taking a much needed warming break in the lodge.

If you buy before November it's something like half off. I know that doesn't help now but if you know you're going to ski over the winter it really helps. Especially for a family of 5.

We skid Park City last week with single digits. The only part of me that got cold was my toes. To a point I had to take my boots off in the lodge.
Booked for Copper Sun - Tues first week of March, then Heavenly back end of that week Wed - Sat. Weird how it worked out, was going to Tahoe for a long weekend for bachelor party for my sisters fiance (his uncle has a place there) and some stuff broke right that we got a chance to take the older two boys (5 and 3) with family to Copper on the front end of that trip while leaving the younger two with my folks here.
Really excited to get the little guys back on skis this year. Also excited to ski Copper, have been all over the front range but never there

We're getting some really fluffy dry powder right now down in the springs. Hoping they're getting some of this up there in Vail/BC. Headed up there for a few days tomorrow.
We had single digits at the house this morning but it was in the mid-teens up at Schweitzer. Not even a hint of fog or clouds today. Pretty damn glorious.

Psych on my day 23. The 6 year old noped out the second she woke up in the van. It was -10 on Meadows this morning.
We bailed back to PDX and I had a nice MTB ride. Wife has green lit a work from resort Thursday and Friday to make up for it!

Glad I was driving up to vail tonight and not driving back. Came out of the tunnel and traffic was solid all the way down to Dillon. I've basically gotten to the point that I refuse to drive I-70 on a weekend.
I hope we get some snow. Purg is pretty rough right now in places. We still had a good day today.
Anyone have a strong recommendation for a helmet that'd be used 3 days a year for skiing? I'm tried of renting them for $15/day.

A lot of ski shops will offer pretty good discounts in the spring. That's when I would pick one up.

I have the vantage and love it. Get the MIPS version.
I just bought a Smith Mission MIPS helmet on sale for $80 before Xmas. Like you mentioned, it only takes a few days of renting at $16/day to have purchased one.
I've got a Giro Grid helmet that I really like. If you look around after the season you can get it around $120ish
I would have noped too if my 6 year old didn't have ski team practice!
My trip to Tahoe got pushed back to the end of March due to some work changes. Staying at Incline Village and going to ski both Northstar and Diamond Peak (have free days there through my season pass). Any tips? I think I remember reading that you guys go to Tahoe pretty often?

I got a smith maze mips this year and am digging it. It's weird because it's mips but doesn't have the back of head adjustment like my other mips do, but it fits perfect. Got it at level 9 last year

Hopefully it dumps and hits Telluride also! Headed up there in 2.5 weeks and they are still on like a 36" base with no snow at all in over a week.
Amen. Heading up to Telluride a week from today. Will make the most of it either way, but would love some more snow.
