Ok Boys and Girls, DVM has an opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable hunter. No, this is not a Jim, Jerry or whatever their name is type of lease. However, like most S Texas leases, experience and ability to age deer and follow rules are part of the deal.

The basics of the lease- 4600 acres. MLD under management since 2008, 10 hunters, 17 blinds-all have stairs/carpeted floors and walls, 14 protein pens fed Double Down (year round), 30 corn fed pens (2 per blind usually), protein pens are not hunted, numerous lakes (4 have bass and catfish), walk in cooler, sink for cleaning dove/quail, excellent roads, annual helicopter survey

Bonus: Ranch house w AC, kitchen, fridge, hot water/shower, awesome outdoor patio, there is a "camp" area for anyone that wishes to use a travel trailer (about 1/2 the guys on the lease have TT for privacy). Ranch Cowboy does ALL the work to keep feeders full, firewood cut and stacked, clean deer/dove/quail- absolutely NO need to drive down to S Texas and sweat while filling feeders, ranch has year round access.

This lease is absolutely 100% turn key. Show up with your gun and enjoy the ranch. This ranch is not inexpensive. Average cost is $15-16k. This covers the cowboy, all feed, improvements as needed, fuel for the cowboy and ranch truck, electricity, water (hauled in). Satellite cameras/everyone has access. It does not cover personal corn.

This ranch has $100k in improvements between blinds (17 blinds @2500/3000 each), feed pens (45 pens), 14 top of the line protein feeders, 45 corn feeders, diesel flat bed ranch truck for cowboy to fill feeders, and so on.

There are two spots available, guest privileges allowed (some limitations).

I am not the lease manager or "boss". I have been asked to screen potential members. If you have to kill a deer every year, this is not your kind of place, if you get drunk every weekend, this is not your kind of place, if you are an a**hole/know it all/complainer this isn't your kind of place.

If you enjoy S Texas and the outdoors, if you enjoy spending time with like minded hunters who are chill, if you want to bring your family and kids, if you are very patient ( the best deer go to 6.5 or 7.5 years/decisions made as a group), then PM me here. Many of you have my email and cell phone, please feel free to contact me if you are interested or have someone else interested.

Awesome looking place! I can just feel the rattlesnakes down there! Good luck and I am sure someone with the $$ will love it.

I love that all new lease posts mention Mitch & Co. LOLZ.

Manny- Looks like a great opportunity. What are the expected annual harvests (mgmt / trophy / doe)?

P. S. What kind of blinds are those?

1 trophy/1 management/2-3 does dependent on survey/MLD recommendations
This lease has LOTS of young deer. There are deer we see in the helicopter that we never see on the hoof or game cams. The older deer are smart as hell, the ranch actually doesn't get that much pressure considering how many guns are on the place.

I have no clue what the blind brand is, they are all very similar, but different types I believe.

Any harvest data for the last few years since the lease has been managed since 2008? Feeding double down year round for many years should produce some pretty nice trophies by now.

I assume since the lease has year round access, that dove, quail, hogs and varmits are included.

Just wanted to bump this for DVM as I have been lucky enough to be a guest on a few dove hunts over the past few years. Beautiful ranch, great people and an exceptional hunt. Few photos from our last years dove hunt.

Those are Patriot Binds out of Cotulla -- we have 7 of them. They are great blinds, but unfortunately, the company is out-of-business.

We also have several Atascosa blinds, Big Country fiberglass blinds, and a couple of Texas Hunter Blinds. All but 2 of our 19 blinds are double blinds (great for hunting with family). And, all but 2 have stairways, so there no ladders to climb (important for those of us who are getting older).

Adding a few shots from the Ranch of Ducks coming off one of the ponds and a buck from last season that was not harvested.

Heading South for a dove hunt as a guest in about a month and wanted to share some of the bucks showing up on camera recently.

They have two spots remaining if anyone is wanting to get on an awesome ranch before the season kicks off!

Howdy!

I still have 2 spots to fill on La Purisima Ranch lease. We just put out game cameras at some of the 14 protein stations and are getting photos of nice young bucks (they are eating 2.5 tons of double down protein per month). From what we let walk last season, got glimpses of, or have seen from the helicopter, there are some 180"+ bucks on the ranch. However, they are VERY elusive!

I have had a lot of guys contacting me looking for a game ranch where you can select your trophy buck and shoot in during a 2-day hunt. La Purisima is more about growing big bucks and the comradery being with fellow hunters and enjoying the entire season -- we have a great group of hunters. We are also family friendly and many bring children and partners.

Based on numbers seen, dove, quail and duck hunting should be outstanding! And, the ranch is accessible year round for varmint hunting, bass fishing, arrowhead or petrified wood hunting.

Please send me an email (lapurisimaranchtx@gmail) or give me a call two-eight-one-five-four-six-nine-two-nine-five it you would like to know more.

Thanks,
Thad

It's really funny watching mature bucks. Yea most don't spend much time at a protein station in view, or visit it at night. Still others I call feeder hogs don't venture far from the station.
