So based on all these high numbers I'm seeing for these deer ranches, the high fence, feeders, blinds, protein, can, maintenance, etc - what is a pound of venison costing these days ? $300-$500 a pound?

i grew up on a large ranch and hunted deer for along time.. just have zero interest in shooting those things anymore… hell i have my own 350 acre property with a high fence and, we open the gate every once in a while to let the deer take off into a low fence,area just so we don't have to shoot them… anyway shooting deer is cool for those the like doing it, I just get a kick out of the craxy money paid for leases these days.. we never had to lease any land
