Continually praying for your family. I realized yesterday that I knew Mary Grace's father in college. Such a great family.

I am a girl mom. I have a daughter, two step daughters and a step granddaughter. I cannot imagine the agony that any parent is going through right now. For a long time, I've convinced myself that God doesn't let out little ones suffer. That when it's their time, he wraps them up in his love and takes them home where they are with those that have gone before them, comforted in his Grace and love.

For all of you who are new/lurking/non Aggies, this is what WE do. We are here for each other even if it's just to offer up prayers. So many of us know each other in real life because of TexAgs, and still, a ton of us don't know each other but from our online personalities. But through it all, we are here for each other. Welcome to our little community.

God be with those first responders. God be with those parents and families anxiously waiting for word. And God be with our leaders to get us through this.

Derm, I know there is very little that can bring peace during this time, but please know that I've followed this thread and the search for Mary Grace since your first post. I was raised in church but for various reasons I have not prayed in many, many years. I would go so far to say that I consider myself agnostic, maybe leaning atheist at times…but the overwhelming love and support I've seen on this thread, along the solace you have found here, has moved me to tears many times these past few days.
I want you to know that I have, and will continue to pray for you and for Mary Grace. I've dug my old bible out of my closet, now covered in dust, and put the words from Gmanoutdoor's wife along with the message from Glenn inside it.
I pray that Mary Grace is found safe so you can tell her just how many people came together to pray for her, and how she inspired at least one person to talk to God again.

A reminder from those on the ground, if you don't have family in the area stay away so rescue crews can rotate in and out. They have all the help they can handle. When they are using thermals to find the victims they need to know where the SAR crews are so they don't confuse them

This is one of those tough times where everyone wants to help, and the help is very much appreciated, but the help can hinder the overall effort…

Listen to officials on this…they are carrying forth the message coming directly from first responders…

There will be time for all to pitch in down the road…

Read an hour ago that they just found 2 girls alive. Came from a volunteer on the ground in the area.

Sadly, my friends' first journey has come to an end. They are traveling back from Kerrville to begin the long journey of grieving. The neighborhood is devastated- the kids are devastated. But she is found- not in some limbo of uncertainty. This sweet girl is in Heaven and although we will never understand this and how it could happen, we will continue prayers for those families still waiting for positive news.

Aviationag, I knew sweet Wynne's mom back in high school and we also got the news this morning. Our hearts ache. If there is anything you hear of we can do to support - meal trains, gofundme, etc - please let us know.
