Facebook User Cord Shiflet who is volunteering on the ground posted live from search zone 41 mins ago and reported two girls were found alive 27 feet high approximately 6 miles down stream clinging to a tree. He doesn't have names or where they are from, you can find him on Facebook to watch. Again, he is not a government official but he appears to clearly be in the search/rescue/recovery area. Again take with a grain of salt until something official comes out.

I just got off the phone with my friend who drove up from Corpus Christi to help with the search. He is on a friend's ranch close to Centerpoint. He said yesterday there were few volunteers searching but today there are hundreds jumping over fences, etc. and he felt a lot better about the situation.

Yesterday he and 4-5 of the ranch hands found three bodies. Some of them on top of debris piled up about 30 feet high.

Today as he was leaving someone found a body on a new island formed in the middle of the river.

His comment was that there are probably more inside all the debris that is piled up.

I posted a link to that video at bottom of prior page. Some bad news, hopefully true good news, but definitely a good look at how vast and complicated such a search is.

It's news that spread quickly on social media, without official verification. The gentleman in the video I shared is 20-30 miles away from where the alleged find was reported. Over 48 hours in a tree would be a miracle and I hope it is true, obsessively looking for official confirmation.

2 girls found in a tree near Comfort
Two girls were rescued alive from a tree nearly 30 feet high Sunday in the flood zone between Comfort and Homillus Road in Center Point, according to multiple sources, as search teams also recovered four bodies in the area.

The dramatic rescue occurred closer to Comfort, which is in Kendall County, witnesses said. The girls were found in the tree during ongoing search operations for victims of Friday's catastrophic flooding that has killed 59 people across Kerr County.

Sources on the ground confirmed the rescue amid extensive search operations along the Guadalupe River corridor where floodwaters reached unprecedented levels Friday morning.

The rescue provides a rare moment of hope in what has become one of the deadliest natural disasters in Texas history. Search teams continue looking for 11 Camp Mystic campers and one counselor who remain missing from the flooding.

Cord is a big time realtor in Austin, multi million dollar homes only. Really impressive to see him out there like that, knows the people's names working, etc.

That's 24 miles from camp if it is in fact campers. That is a huge distance to travel and make it.
