Anyone ever set up an endowed scholarship before? Just an idea. Probably needs it's own thread, but I would donate a couple bucks for all of the Ags that lost kids and grandkids through this if a scholarship was created in their memory.

Derm, I am so sorry, you're vulnerability on this thread has been something to witness. I have followed along this story every day on the hour that I have been awake. I have prayed for Mary Grace, for you and her family. My heart is heavy for your loss and I am just so unbelievably broken over all of this hardship.

I worked in the 3rd and 4th grade classroom in church yesterday and various kids shared their stories connected to this tragedy and I was just reminded of their innocent age.

I will attempt from a distance to sit with you and others in their grief just like the friends of Job did in chapter 2 verse 11 and pray for those close to you to do the same.

I set one up when my daughter passed away 8 years ago and basically contacted my local independent school district and they handled everything.

We were able to raise about $20k in her name and it eventually went to fund several kids that were heading to technical school or college. My wife encouraged students who she taught when she was pregnant with my daughter to write brief letters about their future plans and we awarded them based on that.

Rebecca (Hanna's twin) was found. Hadley was confirmed to be found today too.

Man, My wife and I have been praying they found her so many times. We just knew she'd be walking out of those woods or at a shelter.

I am relived they found her body for her parents. I can't even comprehend what I would be doing myself. I think we have all put ourselves or our daughters there………. Prayers for you all.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Mary Grace. I have followed this thread for the past three days and prayed for Mary Grace and the other children who were swept away. My family grieves for your loss and we are praying for your family and all of those who have lost someone.

I know some think it's weird to have a favorite funeral song but I do. This one was most requested back when I sang at funerals and I still love it.

I've been following along derm, and wrapping you and your family and the others throughout, in prayer. My deepest condolences. Will continue to pray for you, for miracles, even if they aren't the miracles we hope for, and for every family to get closure until they're reunited again in heaven.
