And a call to the game warden may be coming.

We have new neighbors behind us. Land has always been leased to a group of hunters who shoot maybe two or three deer a year. Last year it wasn't leased. New group this year.

They just went flying up and down the fence line chasing and shooting at deer in an ATV. We could even hear them yelling. Shot three times from two different guns.

We can't see them from the blind but my wife can from the trailer.

Outside Hico, it's cool and drizzly. Just sat down as I didn't want to miss trick or treating with the kids last night. Shooter 8 point was here but not the big one I'm after.

Great, calm morning, west Brazos county. Does, fawns, small bucks... till this guy walked up from a creek bottom.
Edited to add: 129 lbs field dressed, 2nd place for my Brazos county deer. And fat! We have zero feeders, either he was great at grazing, or some neighbor?

Brazos county. Saw a good amount of deer but had a doe fly bye me a foot of tongue hanging out with a young 8 point on her ass. Hopefully something bigger is running tomorrow.

Heard plenty of shots this morning while taking my son duck hunting on lake limestone. On the way back l, saw a good buck chasing a doe. I will be in the stand this evening to give it a try

First time I had seen a mouse in the blind it crawls over my foot. Kinda freaked me out for a second but moments later I shot my first archery buck. Now I think they're good luck!

Yup! Thanks for diggging that picture up. Always enjoyed seeing my dad's classmates over the years.

I saw Henry on the quad last year. Went over and visited with him a bit. He's done well.

Agsalaska. My neighbor in Kimble County had a same situation as yours. The neighboring hunters would go up and down his fence line shooting and talking etc. They did this every week end. Those hunters were aware they had a blind relatively close to the fence.
Game Wardens wrote them tickets for hunter harassment. It stopped.

Watched a video not too long ago of a lady who didn't want duck hunters on the property next to her so she went out there with a bullhorn. Got a ticket for it.


I just have a bad feeling about these guys. One of them is 400pounds. One of them drives a brodozer straight out of Dallas. We have a very healthy herd back here and I hope they don't screw that up. Will talk the them in the morning

In the stand just west of Floresville, Wilson County. Got everything in the stand with my son and went to park the truck. Saw a stick stuck to the tire and pulled it out. It had a big thorn and the hissing noise of air escaping commences. Changed the tire and now alittle dirtier and sweatier than anticipated. Miller Lite tall boy helped calm the nerves after that fiasco. Here's to adventures whether you shoot or not this evening.

Mills County. Drove in this morning cause I needed to hang with the kids for some trick or treating. Got here at 1 and popped a tire on the Pioneer an hour after we got here. Not a big deal just drove the truck and walked a few hundred yards with the 7 year old. Perfect evening right now. Couple of small doe out. Just hoping a big boy makes a mistake this evening.

Checking in from Fayette county as well. Sitting in the stand with my wife, 2 year old daughter, and 11 week old son… pray for me!!

This morning I was by myself and saw several young bucks and a decent 8 someone will probably kill this season. He was chasing a doe. There was a group of 4 small bucks still in their bachelor group. Probably daring each other to go talk to the pretty girls. I remember being a teenager as well.
