Today is one of those days I'm glad I invested in this stand. I like hunting in the elements most of the time but sweating it out on December 27th is a hard pass.

I envy the setup! We've stated pitting solar panels + batteries on a few blinds and have entertained adding an inverter and TV at some point. Maybe next year…

I've had an awesome sit with bucks chasing and blackbuck/axis also making an appearance, now waiting to see if any pigs/yotes show.

Just a doe and yearling but the timer on the feeder isn't working so I called an audible and drove around. Saw a bunch of whitetail driving around but nothing I wanted to shoot.

Karnes County … Plenty of deer tonight but no shooters or pigs. But I did have 6 mottled ducks land in the tank.

Back in the stand. It's grossly warm for a morning hunt. Sitting in location I had 6 pigs yesterday morning that winded me before I got gun our window. Wind is not favorable but sitting with windows closed and ozonics ready to go if needed.

Didn't shoot anything. Got out and loaded feeders and am testing out some cottonseed. Hopefully the aoudad don't like it but I'm pretty sure they'll eat anything…

Back in. Temp is still drunk and stuck on bow season but changing tonight. Wind was supposed to shift out of North but hasn't yet and hopefully doesn't screw up my hunt. Sitting with windows closed (hot boxing) for the duration of this hunt.

One of my potential target bucks showed up but he's gonna get a pass. Had him at 3.5-4.5 on camera and he's 3.5. I still could shoot him but he's not hideous enough for me to do that this season.
