How long do you want to ignore this user?
For 3-18x that I am assuming you plan to use at longer ranges out west where wind, elevation, and angles will matter, I would want a first focal plane scope with mil (or moa if you prefer) turrets/reticle and not a ballistic elevation turret with a duplex.

For similar money you could get a Nightforce SHV, Maven RS 1.2, Trijicon tenmile, etc.

Since I bumped this thread I figure I should update on what I bought.

Euro Optic wound up putting some Vortex Razor HD LMT open boxes for sale at $899. Was too good a deal to pass on. I bought the 3-15 X 42 version with SFP reticle. 19 oz weight.
