I was walking the dog and saw them. There were a couple of college girls walking at the same time, who didn't even glance up to the sky with (F-15, F35, F22???) blasting overheard. I don't get it.

I haven't seen them yet. I did hear they were parked on the far west side of the airport so drive past the fire school if you want to see them.

Must be, they were flying around Woodlake, and that is where they always hang out before they form up for the flyover run on gameday.MiMi said:

What a beauty, when I saw the back shot I was surprised they let someone snap a pic but then saw they plugged the engine.

Taken at the end of the runway on takeoff.
We live in south College Station near where the aircraft warm up and stage for the flyover. I set up just down the road from our house since we have lots of trees around us. Caught them making a few turns as they circled around.
Not as impressive as above, but I caught them leaving this morning.

I don't have pics, but Tennessee basketball team came in and out on a Delta 717-200. Has a Boeing 717 ever landed at CLL?
Likely not. Of course If Covid hadn't messed up airlines we would have likely had the Delta Connection this year to ATL and the answer would have been yes!

Delta is still using its 717 planes in mainline flights. Delta Connection uses E175, CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900 from my experiences with them. I'll bet Delta is using some of the 717s as charters due to Covid, but I read they will start phasing them put for the A220 in the near future. The A220 is a really nice plane.
Who are the fast movers out today? I can hear them but can't see them.

Today at approx 1430 (2:30pm), look up over Hwy 6 and there will be a B52 flying over!
The altitude is unknown, but hopefully the aircraft is low enough to be awe inspiring!
