Several burger loving friends have said the cheesburger, done smashburger style at The Owl is very good.
You're doing it wrong, then!Orlando Ayala Cant Read said:
I really can't do the old traditional burgers with wide dry mrs. Bairds type buns anymore. Boring and tasteless.
Need to try this.FlyRod said:

I think he meant -
Wide, dry Mrs Baird's - referring to the buns. Huge bun, tiny burger
Does this place have regular hours? I checked out their Facebook page and didn't see any. Is it a lunch thing or a weekend thing?astroswin said:
My two current favorites are Margie's in Downtown Bryan and Better Beef Smashburgers. The latter is a food truck parked in front of The Ranch Harley Davidson and may be the best burger in BCS.
According to this KBTX story, it's run by a teenager and they're open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Ranch Harley-Davidson, with additional Saturday night pop-ups at Four Downs Sports Bar.Tailgate88 said:Does this place have regular hours? Wanted to give this thread a bump since Washbangers is gone.
Any new burger joints worth trying out?
Never tried it on Texas toast, but the jalapeno bun is also great.Orlando Ayala Cant Read said:
If you guys haven't had a chance, the burger at Chimys on Texas toast is really good. They warm the toast to perfection, and you can build your own burger from the fixins bar. The waffle fries are always good and consistent. Idk about best in town but its in my rotation and always reliable and very good.
