There is "true" Mexican food (mainly fish dishes, see huachinango a la Veracruzana) and there is peon food (a Veracruz Mexican friend's words, not mine). I like the peon food myself, takes me back to my roots.bobinator said:

Breakfast tacos: Jesse's, La Familia, Yole's, some folks swear by Garpez
Sit down mexican: Don Chente (pretty hyped they're moving into the old Bahama Bucks on 40), I like Papa Perez more than most do
Taco truck: Haven't hit any of these in a while so other people might have more up to date recommendations
Tex Mex: Gringos, Lupe Tortilla
