Coming up 6 this afternoon, headed to Brazos County, there is a dead animal off the left shoulder near a turnaround in the median.
This is 2 miles south of Business 6 to Navasota.
I only saw the rear of the body and a long tail, and didn't see the head.
It looked short-haired, so not a longer haired dog. Maybe a lab. Maybe. And I know we get told there are no mountain lions east of I-35, but maybe?
I was not in position to turn around and get another look.
Any of you Grimes County Ags interested in proving whether we had a mountain lion east of 35?
