The Association of Former Students should charge photographers for a license to shoot in Aggie Park. They overrun the place.

Taking pictures that are good PR for A&M…

Also probably taking pictures of kids who paid $100k in tuition to attend.

I was fishing with my son, and a photog came up and said,"Can you move, II need that light." "No, we are fishing here."

But my post was made after watching 10-15 photogs arranging cross pond shots.

Op, if they had a license they may have the ability to actually tell you to move. It is fine the way it is.

how much space are they taking up actually? How much is that actually affecting someone else's ability to enjoy the park? This sounds a lot like "Well they are doing something I disagree with, and there needs to be a law against" Or How maybe how the Simpsons put it "Old man yells at cloud".

They asked. You said no. Unless they kept harassing you or something, this seems to be a big nothing burger.

Always pack a candy bar. Tell them, "sure if you buy a candy bar for my son's band travel fund" and then set the price you want.

I Thinks it's good that students are being photographed there. I can't see it being a huge issue for anyone.

I never noticed the hords of photographers taking shots of students in front of the old President's home.

I think it's great that the park is there and used for multiple uses.

Yep. They also should have campus cops walking through all the tailgates in the park and if they see anyone taking a photo with their cell phones, they should write the person up with a violation of park photo requrements. A fine of $50 would probably slow down that abuse of the park.

An alternative to a license would be to just charge all tailgaters another $100 per space which gives them the rights to take photos in the park while tailgating.

It's a beautiful location and great for Aggies and their families to make some memories with photos.
