I don't think it's on their radar right not, but it isn't a Strawman argument. When TxDot decides that they are going to do something, they do it.

I think it will be very likely once the hwy6 expansion is done that the focus will move to this. By the time that is done it will be at capacity again and they will need to find another relief valve.

Yep.

Highway 6 and finishing up 249 is their priority in this area.


Farther south is an expansion of 290 to three lanes, a flyover from the westbound lanes that feeds 6, and expanding 6 to three lanes in Waller County.

Houston is going to be here in a hurry.

I will just note that this was only for the INNER East Loop. No mention of what's going on with the OUTER East Loop/I-214.

There's a map that I've posted on here a couple of times that shows where it would go. IIRC, it would go from 2818 in CS to 2818 in Bryan, incorporating FM 2038 through Kurten along the way.

Looks like Kyle has been able to spin this into a run for the County Commissioner Pct. 2 seat. Interesting that they shot down the other candidate posting on the Facebook page but not Kyle's.

I've said all along that there was more to this than the loop. They raised over $50,000 and are now a PAC, but their signs don't state that.

Unfortunately, this fight is far from over...

Not sure about Kacal, but the other two for sure. It's on the East Loop Facebook page. Greenwood apparently announced his running at the event at Joe's the other night. Filed officially on Tuesday as well.
