I don't think it's on their radar right not, but it isn't a Strawman argument. When TxDot decides that they are going to do something, they do it.
I think it will be very likely once the hwy6 expansion is done that the focus will move to this. By the time that is done it will be at capacity again and they will need to find another relief valve.
