Thanks for sharing the image and update Hornbeck. I think the network took the Labor Day weekend off. I'm now getting an error message. We're checking into it but it will take a day or two to correct.
I received confirmation that it was a server error. So, yeah - network took a holiday. Everything is back online, the sprinkler icons are all red indicating "don't water" and we can let our sprinkler systems take a break this week.

The Austin weather guy, Avery Tomasco is pretty good and he called this one. Basically "don't get your hopes up." He's an A&M grad.

NWS still at 100% for Saturday.

The latest KBTX video shows the heavy stuff moving through in the early morning hours of Saturday and then scattered showers throughout the day.
Im hoping the dome holds. We are having an outdoor birthday party with bounce house on Saturday afternoon, and id prefer muddy kindergarteners not run through my house.
I'd prefer to not get rained on as well
I'd prefer it rained as my yards are very dry. Friday overnight would be good to allow Saturday events to continue.

Also be cautious when praying for rain. Church I attended several years back decided to fast for rain. Within a week or two, we had flooding.

Yes. By all means. Let's stay in a burn ban and not get any moisture for the first time in two months so one yard can have a birthday party.
