Went to Century Square last week for lunch. Parked in the garage. But it took 5 minutes to get a spot and 5 minutes to get out, because it was 95% full and so many folks trying to get in. Couple that with how tight it is (one way in and out) and a bit farther away from many restaurants. I will have to budget more time if I go back, which I only will if a friend wants to meet there during the week for lunch.
It is a nice area with nice places, but it is an inconvenience when compared to other places.
Yep, I just prioritize other food locations; especially for lunch. I think restaurants going to these spots are actually doing themselves a disservice unless they want walk traffic from A&M/Apartments.
Being a resident not on campus or ever spending time on campus, I see little value of going to century square. We used to go to the movies over there, however after having interruptions (fire alarms pulled in two visits in a row months apart), another was an apparent gas leak in the area and they closed down the parking garage and theater; I have written off that movie theater as well.
