Possibility of moving to B/CS in the next 3-4 months. Have friends and family in the area but just wanting an outside perspective. Looking for an established neighborhood. Purchase price $500-$750k depending on amount of remodel needed. We don't care one way or the other if it's Bryan or CS. Just want a quiet neighborhood.

Grown kids. We are in our early 50s. Don't need a huge lot or house but not opposed to bigger if the house/hood is right. Just enough room to add a pool if it doesn't have one.

We're very close to you, mid-50's, empty nesters. Last year we bought in Pebble Creek. 2900 SF one story with a pool for right at $700. Similar houses here without a pool seem to go for around $500 a $600. Very quiet neighborhood. We've loved it.
Appreciate you chiming in. We are hoping this move/house is our last so we want to get it right. The houses are bigger than we need but the location and well kept nature of the neighborhood might make it the best spot for us.

We moved back in 2010 and lives in an acreage neighborhood until last year. Loved that too but wanted less upkeep. What we've got now is pretty much perfect.

We moved here in august 2023 and had the same dilemma as you with which neighborhoods were best. We ended up renting for a year to try and figure that out. Early 50's both retired so we could live anywhere.....we knew we wanted to avoid the day to day student/university traffic. That eliminated alot of areas. We rented off raintree drive which was very convenient. We knew east of hwy 6 or down south towards Fitch would probably be best. Ended up buying a great house in Park Meadow (Bryan) right off Copperfield Dr.

Easy access to everything and traffic hasn't been bad at all over here. Good luck in your search.

Thanks! We will keep an eye out in that neighborhood. Not much available at the moment (single story) so I guess that's a good sign!
