Because those spring breakers came back from Mexico, and there was a huge surge in community spread... then we were overwhelmed by all those people congregating at Easter... then the governor doomed us by carefully allowing some businesses to gradually reopen under strict guidelines.

Hopefully after getting slapped down by the Attorney General yesterday, Adler will tame it down a bit. But we know that's not going to happen.

I'll take what I can get after hearing LA County extended theirs another 3 months. I'm still in favor of opening more and worried about business failing that just don't know it right now. I'm in favor or some govn't aid to business but only as long as they open up.

There are a number of meat plants that are testing everyone, and we may quickly get to an order to test everyone at every plant. That could result in a another spike of positives, lots of those likely younger and asymptomatic.

The tracker is supposedly being updated to include more data. More data on demographics for cases and deaths etc. They are also going to track number of cases by date of onset of symptoms and compare to stage we are in for opening thing up.

If my math is right, averaging 52 cases/day for the month of May. It was 47 in the month of April. However, last week was almost 61. Not surprising to see an uptick, but the good news is hospitalizations are down even though total cases are up.
