Because those spring breakers came back from Mexico, and there was a huge surge in community spread... then we were overwhelmed by all those people congregating at Easter... then the governor doomed us by carefully allowing some businesses to gradually reopen under strict guidelines.
Wait, those things didn't happen... we've mostly remained careful and kept our hospitals empty. Nice work, everybody.

It's really interesting how for the most part the case increase has stayed very linear at around 50-70 cases per day.
