with some of the random lineup comments that have been made on the air the last few days, I almost wonder if there is some truth to this rumor.

I can't imagine that they're moving the Hardline from afternoon drive.

Its not the hardline anymore... not until they get a decent co-host to replace greggo (not corby)

And I dont think BaD radio is ready for afternoon drive yet- Bob would be great with somebody besides the whiny dan with his big bag of nothin

BaD Radio is by far my favorite show. If moved to afternoon drive I think it might lose some luster. One of the reasons I like it so much is because they're able to do a lot of less sportsy things in that timeslot like Tivo, Gay/Not Gay, BaD Radio reports, etc. If put in afternoon drive they'd probably become more sportsy (in percentage of segments) since the afternoon drive listener is a little more sportsy. I'd still enjoy it, but not as much.

Obviously you've never heard the Hardline, because they do about an hour of sports.

If BAD Radio moves to afternoon, I'll never listen to it. They both SUCK so bad, I'm glad they are on while I'm at work so I don't have to listen.

i find it hard to believe they would move the Hardline to that time slot. But then again, it's practically Mike's station, so if that's what he wants, then that's what would happen. but i would expect a drop in ratings if they do that b/c BAD radio is not near as popular to the masses.

It's not as popular because the masses don't listen to it as much.

The time of the announcement Thursday (11:10) lends credence to the new lineup announcement. Mike and Greg always talk about how they loved the 11-2 timeslot for the convenience (sleep in, off early) with the biggest problem being the smaller audience. Musers would welcome a shorter show.

BaD radio fits best as the quirky daytime show. I don't know if they're ready for full time drive time, but I'm anxious to see how they do. BaD radio is my favorite show. They put out the most effort by far.

I also want to say that I am NOT a fan of their broadcast day ending at 6pm. It used to beat the bloody hell out of me when the Hardline would be done at 6 and the freaking Hot Spot would go on. Those dudes sucked hard and it was all I could listen to on my way home from work. I hated it.

well for you young ones......the hardline was originally not on in drive time. the original lineup had them in the afternoon with chuck cooperstein in drive time.

You guys highly underrate Dan.

They need to leave the lineup as it is and move on; my interest in the Ticket has been fading as it is the past couple of years but if they move the Hardline to early afternoons I am going to have to take up learning Spanish on my drive home.

I think a Hardline move to 11-2 would be driven by Rhynes, not management. He probably doesn't have the energy or passion for the 4 hour drivetime job anymore. Plus it interferes with Petty Theft shows. He's a man who is always trying new things (remember the Frisco play-by-play stint). I stand by my remarks on pg 2 or so that Mike's interest level in sports talk parallels the success of the Rangers over the years. The Rangers have sucked the life out of him.

Dan is the unquestioned genius of the Ticket -- well, along with Gordo, perhaps. I can't figure out why he's so despised. As someone said above, Bob and Dan put forth by far the most effort in making their show good. I'd be proud of them if they got drive time, although it would take away from their coveted noon to 3.

I think Dan is great. I'm not a big fan of Donovan, but he's ok. Sometimes it just doesn't feel like he fits...

I'm hoping there is no lineup change. I'm not really expecting a change, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it happened.

i can give you my reasons for why i used to not like dan.

being the new guys (bob and dan), bob seemed likeable b/c he often spoke about how grateful he was to be talking sports for a living. so i appreciated the fact he realized he's pretty damn lucky. dan, on the other hand, i dont get that impression of. he doesnt seem to know much about sports and current sport topics. countless times when he and bob are interviewing someone, dan will have to ask in the middle of the interview what they are talking about because he doesnt know. and i also remember a couple years ago, i believe it was a game 7 playoff basketball game in houston with the Mavs...Dan left early (with the game on the line) to beat the traffic. that kind of stuff pissed me off. to be able to go to the biggest sporting events and not appreciate it, bothered me.

but i'll say this, over the last few years, he has slowly grown on me. and if anything, bob is the one that kind of annoys me. he is a sports snob, and for some reason, his sports superiority complex annoys me.

Dan is the biggest power down on the station. I like Bob. I like Donovan. But I do not listen to BAD radio because of Dan. If only he would follow Kevin Blanford, David Robinson Also, and Richard Hunter into Ticket retirement....

Big Dick ran a pretty good show. He realized that his listening audience was primarily the single, adult male with no social life. He catered to them perfectly! I've always felt bad that he got run off The Ticket. I don't agree with a lot of the things he did or said, but I'll be the first to admit that he had (has?) a good show.

No...Big Dick is a sex pervert and that's all he could talk about. Haning out with Joe what's his nuts and Dennis from the Bunny Ranch...etc.

just tried itunes again. Podcasts have not updated since Friday. Maybe they are reconfiguring the show names and descriptions?

Hunter had a convicted mass murderer picking football games with him from prison. I'd hesitate before I labelled his show "good".
