agree. making this argument after the fact is chicken-s. before the season, that night game at death valley appeared to be a huge challenge. likewise, im sure the "experts" would have had US as "mid-tier opponent" on other people's schedule eval.

It 100% sounded like Jub said "they can f*** off!" during that rant.

well context matters here. I heard this.

He said if the Cowboys defense was just average they would be able to win most of their games. Then he backtracked and said or at least more than they lose.

"Most" and "more than you lose" are exactly the same thing to me. Struck me as funny.

I was really hoping they would concoct a way to force George in to joining the rant. That would have potential for the best 3 hours in Ticket history.

as mentioned, 12-3 will be great. 6-9 has the potential to be wheels off also. Not sure about the rest.

ETA: nothing good or bad to say about Detty. I'm maybe one of the few that doesn't mind Matt but I know most on here hate him.

But if I never heard Junior or Sean on the radio ever again, I'd be a pretty happy guy.

9-12 is bad, but 6-9 is terrible. Mino is the worst of the hosts. DJ - ok. Monty is solid.

Matt is definitely the mvp out of that group. I don't mind Matt either.

I think 6-9 would be my second rated group. I love Bob but he's the worst for white elephant. And DJ and Monty are good/great together. I'd put 6-9 in second behind the obvious #1.

Agree with someone above that wish we could put George or someone else with the rant. Bob or anyone. Donnie's dad jokes will fall extra flat with the rant.

Agreed on Mino. He had no business being promoted and is the worst host on the station.

For as "random" this was, I'm pretty sure it was preordained.

- 6a-9a: Basically WIP v1 + WIP v2.

- 9a-12p: Spares unite in the most inconsequential time slot.

- 12p-3p: Rant revival where Donnie is the good little soldier as the 4th wheel because Jub probably threw a tantrum when he was supposed to do it. Monty would have killed it here.

- 3p-7p: Bob doesn't want to mess with his routine and tee time, and afternoon Jub gets to (hopefully) shine.

The more I replay the segments im my mind, Bob being over the top with "wait who picked what?" more than once, like he wasn't paying attention, makes me more convinced it was all a setup/bit. It's like he didnt agree with the approach.

Whatever. It's radio and they probably figured this little playet was something new for the listener.

Pretty bad lineups. I'm guessing management stacked 12-3pm to see if it's the hosts or the time slot, and when the numbers show a big jump in audience they will be able to show the hosts they do not get a raise.

Really wish they would have taken The Chrisser up on his offer to work a White Elephant shift. Not even he could save some of those time slots, but it couldn't hurt.

It's always a set up.
