Nice! I've always wanted a moonphase watch, but for some reason never bought one. I already have two other CW's though.

$45 is too much for a simple rubber strap and the stupid Velcro is one of the reasons I didn't like the original strap. The rubber strap I bought for mine was 12 bucks and fits and looks great.

Guys, I have a Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Chronograph I'm selling. I've had the watch now since 2007 and have worn it daily. It's an automatic and I have the original box and paperwork, etc. Purchased it in Singapore and got it serviced a few years back. It has your standard wear for a watch this old, but it's in very good condition and works. It has the date/day and chronograph.

Purchased the watch originally for ~$3500 US. Today I'll let it go for $650 OBO. Text me for pictures. If someone would post a picture for me, I'd much appreciate it. So I thought it would be interesting to share that we were just given this and had no idea it was in the family.

Patek Philippe ladies pendant watch, 1910, with the original box and papers! HA! Truly fantastic.

Although I haven't tried to gauge its accuracy, it appears to still work when wound, but I am hesitant to wind it too much. It has been sitting in the box for a VERY long time.

Does anyone have any idea what to do with it? Assuming it works, is it worth having serviced? Just have the wife wear it as a pendant/jewelry? I'm assuming it's not worth more than $2-3k. Pretty simple complication, but cool nonetheless. (I was hoping it would be something like this…



but alas, I don't think so.)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Worth stating that the face is "maybe" 30mm? Pretty small. Pictures make it seem bigger.

I agree, it's pretty cool. The wife doesn't quite have the same "it's a Patek!" that I do, but it's a cool family heirloom.

I thought the same thing (or was hoping), but the very few auctions/sales of these things I could find would say otherwise. Pocket watches and pendant watches are just not in vogue.
