It's white gold, and I believe you could tell under certain lighting conditions, the white gold has a somewhat warmer hue

This pic shows it pretty well, although I don't have platinum to compare. WG on the right two. Also, diversity is still not my strength. Perhaps someone with a platinum watch will chime in

platinum is startlingly white, you don't realize how yellow white gold is it until you see them next to each other.

FTAC - Hypothetically, what would a 40mm Slate faced Day-Date run on the used market? Chrono seems to show mid-40s. How much of a premium do the papers/box carry and are they necessary if the intent is not to sell in the future? Is Rhodium an interchangable color name or are they different?

Ref 228239 is the new model but not sure if past year references are different.
