Yep. First pcr test we could find last Thursday was for this afternoon. Finally found at home tests so we did that instead. Don't see any reason for the pcr at this point after multiple positives on the take homes for each person.

This tells me that plenty of people are still going to the hospital with omnicrom, but treatment is easier/more successful and they're discharged quicker. Seems to fall in line with what you hear from South Africa.

That wouldn't surprise me. Just about my entire extended family got it over the last 10 days. None have gone to the hospital even though 4 are over 60.
I got a little nervous early this morning when all the congestion and drainage made breathing slightly difficult. Mucinex seemed to help quite a bit. It's like a combination of a flu mixed with a respiratory infection.

My office just emailed and boosters now required, masks confirmed and no one allowed to return except essential staff. I expect return date will be pushed again.

Ask them to prove that the booster prevents infection and or transmission.
We were supposed to return to the office on January 10, some of us on a hybrid plan (WFH vs. in office) but just got the email today they're delaying it again until February 14.
Don't get me wrong, I think at this covid hysteria is ridiculous but I do appreciate the covidians driving the bus on this forcing our executives to keep us WFH. I mean, I'm happier, healthier, a better father, a better husband, and every bit as productive/efficient at work working from home so I see no reason to return to the office any more than absolutely required.

Return was tomorrow and had been previously pushed to end of January which now includes booster deadline.

I know employers that are paying for the tests. They realize they're going to be screwed for talent if they don't.
They use the ClearPass app verification and somehow are able to investigate and maybe have a cross reference source and have dealt with some who attempted.
Mask requirement back for everyone at my office so told my boss I'll go back to working from home only until it's safe enough to come back in without a mask

The OSHA mandate permits employees to file an attestation in lieu of the card.

Do we know if TMC breaks these out by people who are hospitalized for something else but happened to test positive? I can't find the article now but I saw something this morning from South Africa's latest study saying that the large majority of Covid positive patients in the hospital during their Omicron wave weren't admitted for Covid symptoms and were discharged much quicker than previous waves.

Just got a call from my thrice vaccinated brother-in-law. Who, by the way, wears a mask when out in public. Started feeling bad on the 29th when they drove home from here to Denver. Bad sore throat but nothing else really. Tested on the 30th and came back positive today. Feels better but was around my whole family for days.

They're doing something to verify. I don't know what. But, they have already caught a couple of people with fake cards and fired them.
I wouldn't upload a fake card. Pay an attorney to write your exemption request instead of using the company form. You shouldn't have to use the company form, although they won't tell you that.
At my company, at least, an exemption request is irrelevant to them. They've given a "way out" with the weekly testing.
We are back on March 2020 covid protocol where I work...
