Based on the lines I see on social media I won't be going anytime soon.

I'm not sure there's a burger in this city worth waiting in a line that meanders through an asphalt parking lot when it's 100+ outside. Hell it's too fckn hot to cook the best burgers in town out in my backyard.

I guess so. This is what I found on yelp. Question? When did tipping become a thing for making a burger. I don't tip the people at Whataburger for making a patty. Either way, I won't be going there anytime soon. So many other places just as good. Pete's burger is a great place, for those in the Kingwood, Porter and New Caney area.

And they try to pressure you into it. Especially when im get a small black coffee or picking up subway.

Unfortunately, those prices don't seem too out of line for a non-fast food chain burger combo meal nowadays.

Yep...I feel like the expectation to be tipped for any and every transaction blew up during Covid. And for a while, I was very generous as I saw it as my way to help businesses going through a government induced hard time. Now I only tip if it's just a one of a kind employee that I can see goes above and beyond.

Also I've noticed a tip option comes up on any POS pad you insert your card on. A lot of them give you preset amount options with NO TIP not being an option.

I think people feel obligated to do it if if gives you option or they just instinctively hit a button. Not me...I have no issue with selecting other amount then $0.00.

Never tried it at rodeo because the line was always way too long. The couple of people I know that have had it said it's good, but no anything to go out of your way for.

I had one out at the Rodeo. It was OK, but definitely not worth the hype. I don't have to have another one anytime soon, and I would certainly not wait in line for one.

Teaching the elites at Rice, cooking vegan rap burgers...I thought Houston rap had reached its mainstream peak when every white girl in town had to wave her hands in the air for that one Fat Pat song they all know.

At least 50 cent kept it real-ish, affiliating with the working class kids at UH.

Gonna have to dial back to that real old school H-Town music that the sellouts and transplants don't know about
